Editorial independence
The ServiceAgent Directory is editorially independent. Rankings are produced by a transparent formula applied to public data, and no business can buy a higher position. There is no pay-to-rank, and we do not accept payment, gifts, or incentives in exchange for editorial placement. If we ever introduce sponsored slots, they will be clearly labeled as sponsored and will not affect the editorial ranking.
How we rank
Every provider is scored by a composite ServiceAgent Score (0–10) that blends a Trust Score (data completeness, owner-verification, and review-volume credibility) with a Recommendation Score (Google star rating, Bayesian-shrunk toward the category mean so a handful of five-star reviews can't outrank an established operator). Data sources
Listings are built from public Google Business Profile data — business name, address, phone, website, rating, review count, hours, and category. We do not invent reviews, ratings, or quotes. A listing marked “Unclaimed listing (Google data)” has not been verified by its owner; an “Owner-verified” listing has. The dataset powering this directory was last refreshed on May 12, 2026, and each listing shows that as its data-as-of date. Ratings and review counts change over time — always confirm current details on the provider's own profile before hiring.
Author of record
Every ranking page is written and maintained by Shaambhav Shankar, Growth & Product Marketing, ServiceAgent, who owns the ranking methodology and the data-verification process. Per-provider summaries are generated from the underlying public data (review volume, rating, advertised services, and profile completeness), not from undisclosed opinion.
Corrections
If something on a ranking page is wrong or out of date — a closed business, a changed phone number, an inaccurate detail — email help@serviceagent.ai with the page URL and the issue. We review every correction and respond within one business day. Business owners can also claim and correct their own listing directly.
How we make money
ServiceAgent sells software to home-service businesses. The directory is free to use and free to be listed in. Our commercial products are clearly marked as ours wherever they appear; they never influence where a provider ranks.
